Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Losing your job can be a devastating event.

In these three novellas, the characters do not take well to their change of life events.

In Malfeasance, a stock broker is fired for sleeping with the mistress of the CEO. With an unintended disguise, he gets a job on the maintenance crew that services the building and is in a perfect position to exact a measure of revenge.

Day Trippin' finds a laid off television advertising sales executive turning to day trading as a way to keep a substantial income flowing into the household. His boredom leads him to become a serial rapist and murderer.

In an ode to the lyricism of violence, The Ballad of Justin Thieme is an account of a sad man with a funny name. Doing his best to survive in a cruel work environment, he seeks only bloody vengeance when he is fired.

From the author of Kansas Two-Step and Quick comes three exceedingly dark tales of how the economic downturn and the aggressiveness of Corporate America push three men to the razor's edge and then watches them jump off.

Take a good look at your own co-workers after reading these stories and wonder who might be next: you or them.
