Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

He had to return. There was no other choice.

While working security at a low-class casino in Minnesota, disgraced Wichita KS police detective Walt Hardy gets an anonymous phone message:

You better check on your brother. I think he's dead.

There's a lot of bad blood back in the Sunflower State: Lt. Dickey, his former boss who would love to nail him to a cross; Gayle, the perennial good-time gal always on the lookout for a meal ticket; and Liebovitz, the crass Eastern European whose dirty money buys a lot in a sluggish economy.

Since his departure, there could even more malignant tough guys and thugs just looking to get in on the action. Walt can't worry about that. His younger brother is in trouble and that is all that matters.

In Swan Song, there are no good guys, just different degrees of bad guys. Walt Hardy is going to have to come face to face with the past in an effort to save his brother. This will either be one last chance at redemption or the end of the road.
