Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A new place can begin with one brave step.

Lumi's backpack is ready for Moonbeam School, but his belly is full of fluttering butterflies. What if he does not know where to go? What if he misses home? With help from Flicker, Ms. Maple, and new classmates, Lumi learns to name his worry, practice a slow breath, follow a simple school day plan, ask for help, and trust that his grown up will return.

This warm story prepares children for arrival, classroom routines, goodbye feelings, small mistakes, making one friend, and the happy reunion at the end of the day. Its practical five step plan gives families language they can practice before school begins.

A reassuring read for preschool, kindergarten, school orientation, and any child facing a new beginning.
