Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

When Reed sees that Hanna the heron is feeling sick he brings her a portion of a large trout he caught. In this act of benevolence Reed experiences a great warmth from the fact that he could help a fellow animal in its time of need. He then goes on to save a young beaver kit from drowning and continues his selfless acts, showing the meadow just how benevolence can assist a community.
