Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Grubby has spent most of his life mastering one essential skill:

Not getting involved.

Then he limps into the village of Bellwether looking for a meal, a bed, and perhaps a few days in which absolutely nothing happens.

Instead, a misunderstanding turns him into a dragon slayer.

An unfortunate encounter with a runaway horse makes him a hero.

A bard makes everything worse.

And before Grubby can escape, the villagers have decided he may be exactly the knight they need.

There is only one problem.

Grubby isn't a knight.

Now, surrounded by increasingly enthusiastic villagers, an alarmingly observant innkeeper, one very determined young girl, and a bard who refuses to let facts ruin a good song, Grubby must survive the most dangerous thing he has encountered in years:

A reputation.

The Accidental Knight! is the first book in The Misadventures of Sir Grubby, a humorous medieval fantasy series about bad luck, accidental courage, found community, and a reluctant hero who keeps discovering that "not today" is becoming harder to arrange.
