Iceland, AD 935.Eyvind Arngeirsson has no land of his own, but he has a home, a family, and a nameworth protecting. When a dispute over land and honor turns violent, Eyvind makes achoice he cannot take back. The law does not care that he believed he was defending hisfamily. He is declared a full outlaw and forced to leave Iceland behind.Exile carries him west into a world of rough seas, unfamiliar shores, Norse-Gaelicsettlements, raiding, captivity, and men whose loyalty must be earned. What begins as afight to survive slowly becomes something larger. Eyvind takes on debts he refuses toforget, makes promises that cost him dearly, and finds himself responsible for peoplewho once had no reason to follow him.And along the road, a one-eyed stranger keeps appearing. The gods are never far from the world Eyvind knows, but their attention offers no simpleanswers. Thunder can follow courage. A stranger can ask the right question at the worstpossible moment. And a man can never be certain whether the path opening before himis a gift, a test, or both.As word of Eyvind's deeds begins to travel farther than he does, he must learn thedifference between having a reputation and becoming the man the stories claim him tobe. Home still waits beyond the sea, along with unfinished debts, old enemies, and peoplehe refuses to abandon. But returning will take more than anger. The Saga of Eyvind Arngeirsson is a historically grounded Viking Age story of exile, family, faith, honor, violence, and the price of building a name in a world where nothingworth keeping comes without a cost
