The giraffe is HUGE... then GIANT... then she can FLY! Soon she's arriving in an aeroplane, wearing a golden crown and preparing for her very own royal parade! As the story passes from zebras to elephants, flamingos, lions, penguins, meerkats, crocodiles and parrots, each animal adds something new-and the rumour gets sillier and sillier. So what will happen when the mysterious Giraffe Queen finally arrives?Did You Hear? is a funny and colourful story for children aged 5-8 about rumours, misunderstandings and why it's always a good idea to hear the WHOLE story before passing it on.Packed with expressive zoo animals, laugh-out-loud mix-ups and a very soggy surprise, this entertaining story gently encourages children to think about listening carefully, checking the facts and not believing everything they hear.Perfect for bedtime reading, shared reading, classrooms and young animal lovers-and for any child who has ever heard a story that became a little bit bigger every time it was told!
