Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Most people meet the Seven Hermetic Principles secondhand, quoted in a self-help book, referenced in a meme, half-explained in a YouTube video. Almost nobody meets them properly explained, in order, with their actual history attached.

Introduction to Hermeticism starts where the tradition itself starts: with Hermes Trismegistus, the legendary Greek-Egyptian sage whose name anchors nearly two thousand years of Western esoteric thought, and with the real, traceable texts, the Corpus Hermeticum, the Emerald Tablet, and the 1908 book that repackaged it all for the modern reader, The Kybalion. From there, this book walks through each of the Seven Principles in plain language, what it actually claims, where it came from, and how people have applied it, without skipping straight to affirmations the way many shorter guides do.

What you'll come away understanding:

- The real history behind Hermeticism, from Hellenistic Egypt through the Renaissance revival to the 1908 Kybalion, and how much of what's labeled "ancient Egyptian wisdom" online is actually much newer- All Seven Hermetic Principles explained one at a time, Mentalism, Correspondence, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Cause and Effect, and Gender, each with what it actually means and a clear, concrete example- How Hermeticism relates to, and differs from, Gnosticism, Kabbalah, and later occult and New Thought movements it influenced- How these principles are commonly applied in reflection and personal development practice today, presented as the tradition presents them, not oversold as scientific fact

Written for the reader who wants to actually understand this, not just quote it. Every chapter builds on the last, key terms are defined the first time they appear, and a glossary at the back means you never have to flip backward hunting for a definition you've forgotten. No prior knowledge of philosophy, the occult, or religious history is assumed.
