Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The galaxy is full of secrets. Some are better left buried. The year is 4357, and on the distant water world of Pontus, almost everyone lives on the sea. Floating cities stretch across endless oceans, interplanetary vessels crowd the harbors, and smugglers make their living carrying cargo to places respectable captains know better than to visit.Templeton Vile is one of those smugglers.Or at least he used to be a good one. These days, Templeton has a bad leg, a worse drinking habit, a mountain of debt, and an aging ship called Enigma that seems determined to fall apart one piece at a time. Then Pulse walks into his life. She's young, mysterious, carrying a satchel she refuses to explain-and offering Templeton more money than he's seen in years for one seemingly simple job: Get her to Pelagus. There's just one problem.Pelagus is a world of endless darkness, boiling seas, violent criminals, and buried secrets. Templeton has been there before. It's also the reason he walks with a limp. What begins as a smuggling run soon becomes something far more dangerous as Templeton and Pulse uncover the trail of a mysterious scientist, a resistance searching for answers, and a riddle pointing toward something powerful enough to change the balance of Treon-866 forever.Pirates are hunting them.Others want what Pulse carries. And somewhere in the darkness, the eye that never sleeps is waiting.Packed with strange worlds, dangerous escapes, humor, mystery, unlikely friendship, and a battered ship that really should have been retired years ago, The Eye That Never Sleeps launches The Treon-866 Chronicles, a science-fiction adventure about two unlikely companions discovering that sometimes the most important cargo isn't what you're carrying-it's who you become along the way.
