Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A Mother's Prayer. A Son's Calling. A Story Only God Could Write.Born into circumstances she did not choose, she was separated from her mother and raised by loving relatives who gave her a home, a family, and a foundation that would shape the woman she became. What could have left her bitter instead became part of a life marked by faith, generosity, and a quiet trust in God.Years later, Ruth became a wife and mother whose greatest hopes were centered on her family. She prayed for a redheaded son and dedicated him to the Lord before she could know where his life would lead. She prayed for the woman he would one day marry-even though Ruth would never know her name. When illness came, Ruth understood there were things she might not live to see. From a hospital room, she placed a set of rings into her teenage son's hands: an engagement ring with a single diamond and a simple wedding band. They were meant for the woman he would someday love.Years later, another discovery would reveal just how far Ruth's prayers had reached. Before She Knew My Name is a warm, faith-filled family story about a woman whose life began with rejection but became a legacy of love. It is a story of mothers and daughters, a devoted sister, a redheaded little boy, a family changed by illness, a calling to ministry, a set of treasured rings, and a handwritten prayer preserved inside a Bible. Most of all, it is the story of a mother who trusted God with a future she would never see-and of the people who eventually discovered that they had been part of her prayers all along.A mother's prayer. A son's calling. A story only God could write.
