Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Everything is energy. Your thoughts create your reality. As above, so below. You hear these ideas everywhere today. They show up in bestsellers, coaching sessions and social media feeds, and sometimes even in churches. They promise control over life and a key to its hidden laws. But are they true?As Above, So Below? takes the seven so-called Hermetic principles of The Kybalion seriously. S.Saraja Seif traces their path from Hermes Trismegistus and the Corpus Hermeticum to the New Thought movement around 1900. She looks honestly at manifestation, the Law of Attraction, karma and spiritual experiences. She does not mock, and she does not rush to condemn.Where do Hermetic ideas and the Bible meet? Where do they part ways? And what happens to a person when every illness and every loss gets explained as a "low vibration"?This book invites seekers and Christians alike to ask hard questions, including about their own faith. Its touchstone is not a system. It is Christ."Test everything; hold fast what is good."
