"The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers."- The Holy Qur'an (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:6)THE MOTHERS OF THE BELIEVERS presents the complete, deeply moving, and authoritative chronicle of the extraordinary women who shared the domestic sanctuary of the Final Messenger of Allah ﷺ the Ummahāt al-Mu'minīn.Far from passive figures in early Islamic history, the wives of the Prophet ﷺ were towering intellectual, political, and spiritual leaders. They served as primary preservers of divine revelation, transmitters of prophetic traditions, advisors in moments of constitutional crisis, and champions of charitable reform.Inside this masterwork, author FAIZAN explores the full biographies of all the Mothers of the Believers: - - Khadījah bint Khuwaylid: The Pillar of the Dawn-the noble merchant queen who first comforted the Prophet ﷺ upon receiving revelation in the cave of Ḥirā'.- - Sawdah bint Zam'ah: The Guardian of the Hearth-the steadfast widow who embraced Islam in the face of clan persecution and preserved the prophetic household.- - 'Ā'ishah bint Abī Bakr: The Beacon of Jurisprudence-the brilliant scholar who memorized thousands of hadith, taught jurists, and shaped Islamic legal thought for centuries.- - Ḥafṣah bint 'Umar: The Custodian of the Sacred Text-the daughter of Al-Fārūq entrusted with guarding the original compiled manuscript of the Holy Qur'an.- - Zaynab bint Khuzaymah: The Mother of the Destitute-renowned across Arabia for selfless, boundless charity to the poor and orphaned.- - Umm Salamah (Hind bint Abī Umayyah): The Paragon of Sagacity-whose strategic counsel saved the Muslim army during the tense standoff at Ḥudaybiyyah.- - Zaynab bint Jaḥsh: The Artisan of Charity-whose marriage was decreed in the Qur'an and who gave away every dinar earned from manual labor.- - Juwayriyah bint al-Ḥārith: The Emancipator of Her Tribe-whose blessed union led to the voluntary freeing of one hundred families of Banū al-Muṣṭaliq.- - Umm Ḥabībah (Ramlah bint Abī Sufyān): Faith Over Kinship-who endured exile in Abyssinia, choosing divine truth over aristocratic clan power.- - Ṣafiyyah bint Ḥuyayy: The Test of Dignity-the descendant of Prophet Aaron (Hārūn) who embodied grace, patience, and profound devotion.- - Maymūnah bint al-Ḥārith & Māriyah al-Qibṭiyyah: The noble women who sealed the domestic covenants of prophecy and bore the Prophet's son, Ibrāhīm.Grounded strictly in canonical hadith collections and classical biographical chronicles (Ibn Kathīr, Aṭ-Ṭabarī, Ibn Sa'd, and Adh-Dhahabī), The Mothers of the Believers is an indispensable portrait of female scholarship, leadership, and piety in Islam.
