Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Brenda and Bette - Ride or Die!When Brenda and Bette form a friendship at the New View care home, they very quickly discover that they have one very important thing in common: they've spent far too much of their lives doing what was expected of them.Having decided that they're not ready to just live until they die, they make a pact. They're going to live every minute and tick the things off their bucket list that they never got round to doing when they were young - from fake tan to cannabis. They've come to the realisation that it's never too late to break the rules, and they intend to break them all...What could possibly go wrong? With their increasingly outrageous antics catching the attention of Maureen, the self-appointed residents' spokeswoman, Brenda and Bette soon find themselves at the centre of gossip and scandal. Maureen herself, is plagued by her sworn nemesis and personal nightmare ...Rita. Rita has made it her life's work to wind Maureen up and has a habit of popping up at the worst possible times. Maureen's dislike of Rita is compounded by the fact that she is very much loved by the other residents.Behind the doors of this respectable care home, it seems everyone has something to hide and when secrets start to surface, Brenda and Bette begin to discover that friendship can be just as problematic as growing old.
