"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." - John 10:27There is a lie that has been told so quietly and so often that most believers no longer notice they have swallowed it: God does not talk to people like you. He spoke to Moses. He spoke to Elijah. He spoke to Paul. But you? You were taught to read, to pray, and to walk away hearing nothing.Trust That Voice was written to break that lie in pieces. From "And God said" in Genesis to "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith" in Revelation, the Bible bears witness on nearly every page that the Lord Himself doth speak. This book follows that voice through the whole of Scripture: in the garden, to Abraham under the stars, to Moses at the mercy seat, to a boy named Samuel in the night, to Elijah in a still small voice, through every prophet, in the Word made flesh, and by the Holy Ghost throughout the Book of Acts. Then it shows you, verse upon verse, that the same voice is promised to every one of His sheep.Inside you will discover: - The many ways God speaks today, and seven biblical tests for knowing His voice from every other- How to position your heart to hear Him, as Samuel did: "Speak; for thy servant heareth"- Why people do not want to hear Him, from fear, self-will, idols of the heart, and the fear of man- Why so many never hear Him at all, and how to break the silence- Fifteen reasons this truth is so rarely taught in church, handled honestly and without despising the Bride- What it means to abide so deeply in the Vine that He bears His fruit through you, in season and out of seasonPacked with hundreds of full King James scripture passages, Trust That Voice also includes an index of over 2,000 verses in which the Lord is recorded speaking, arranged book by book, so no one can say this teaching rests on a few proof texts. It rests on the whole weight of the Word of God."And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it." - Isaiah 30:21He is not silent. He never was. Open your ears, and trust that voice.
