Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Can religious unity become deeper without making religious differences disappear?A Unified Theory of Religion gathers the spiritual argument at the center of Beyond Sovereignty: The Discourses. In the Tenth Discourse, John Zavala Jr. asks whether humanity's religions may be understood as historically conditioned responses to one underlying divine reality.Using The Urantia Book as its primary revelatory framework, the book brings comparative religion into conversation with theology, philosophy, and spiritual experience. It examines evolutionary and revealed religion, the development of the God-concept, the Universal Father, the Trinity, and the distinction between the religion of Jesus and later religions about Jesus. Within its Urantian interpretation, it also explores Salem, Melchizedek, Abraham, and the Urmia teachings. The argument does not claim that every doctrine means the same thing. It rejects a compulsory universal creed, one world church, and the confusion of institutional authority with possession of God. Its governing proposal is that religion is one in source, many in expression, progressive in realization, and cosmic in scope. For readers exploring comparative religion, faith, and spiritual unity, this discourse offers an invitation to seek shared divine meaning without erasing truth or difference-and to consider the Fatherhood of God as the ground of one human family.
