Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A museum has appeared on an Edinburgh street. Perhaps it has always been there. Nobody seems entirely sure. When Mara and Elliot step inside, they expect old paintings, quiet galleries and an ordinary afternoon out. Then they look through the entrance. Edinburgh is gone. Outside is Prague. And nobody else in the museum seems particularly surprised.Because Mara and Elliot aren't the first people the museum has taken. Behind its doors are visitors who entered years even decades earlier. Some have watched cities change beyond the windows. Some have been offered ways out. Some have stopped believing escape is possible. The museum travels. The world quietly makes room for it.And once it has chosen you, leaving may not be as simple as finding the door. But the deeper Mara and Elliot travel into its galleries, the stranger the truth becomes. The museum isn't merely collecting people. It's trying to understand something. Something humans do every day without ever thinking about it.And somewhere inside its oldest rooms is a mistake that has been waiting more than two hundred years to be corrected. Atmospheric, mysterious, darkly funny and unexpectedly moving, The Permanent Collection is a supernatural mystery about memory, connection, letting go and one very clever museum that is still learning the rules. The doors are open. Whether you should go inside is another question.
