Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Freddie Forgives introduces your child to the Christ-like act and concept of forgiveness. It emphasizes that forgiveness does not mean saying that someone's hurtful behavior was acceptable. A person can forgive someone while still recognizing that the person's actions were wrong. The story encourages children to pray, talk about their feelings with someone they trust, and place judgment in God's hands. The larger spiritual message is that forgiveness can be difficult and may require prayer and time, but it can also bring healing and express love. The book connects human forgiveness to God's forgiveness and encourages children to extend forgiveness to people who have hurt or disappointed them.Key Lessons for Children- It is okay to feel angry or hurt.- Feelings do not justify hurting someone else.- We should think before acting when we are angry.- Forgiveness can help us move forward.- Forgiving someone does not mean what they did was okay.- Prayer can help us work through difficult feelings.- Talking to a trusted person can help.- Forgiveness can be part of healing and love.- God forgives us, and we are encouraged to forgive others.- Looking forward rather than remaining stuck in the past can help us build a happier future.
