Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

What if the struggle is not simply controlling your thoughts, emotions, words, and responses? What if the deeper question is: What governs you?For years, Rebecca Bentley believed spiritual maturity meant becoming stronger, more disciplined, less affected, and better able to manage whatever life brought her. But God began showing her that lasting transformation does not begin with controlling the fruit. It begins by returning to the Vine.Presence Precedes Government explores the hidden beliefs, fears, wounds, and agreements that shape how we think, speak, respond, and live. Through Scripture and honest personal reflection, Rebecca invites readers to examine what has been given authority within them-and to discover the freedom of bringing every part of life beneath the loving government of God.This book is for anyone who loves God but still finds themselves: - Trying to control outcomes in order to feel safe- Carrying responsibilities God never assigned them- Seeking peace from people, money, work, or certainty- Managing outward behavior while struggling inwardly- Longing to rest without abandoning faithful stewardshipYou were never created to become your own source.Jesus did not command the branch to manufacture fruit. He commanded it to remain in the Vine.Presence precedes government.Government precedes fruit.Abide. Be led. Live Sovereign.
