Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

What if you were the one who wandered away? Would the Shepherd still come looking for you?Pip is a happy, curious little lamb in a flock of one hundred sheep. He loves his Shepherd-but sometimes he wonders how one little lamb could possibly matter when there are so many others. Then one day, Pip wanders too far.As daylight fades and the hills grow dark, Pip finds himself frightened and alone. Surely the Shepherd wouldn't leave ninety-nine sheep just to search for one...would he?But when the Shepherd counts his flock, he immediately knows who is missing.Pip.With his lantern glowing against the night, the Shepherd sets out to find his lost little lamb. And when Pip is finally found, he learns a truth that every child deserves to carry in their heart: "But...you had ninety-nine other sheep.""Yes. But I was missing you."Inspired by Jesus' Parable of the Lost Sheep in Luke 15:3-7, The One He Went Back For is a tender Christian picture book about God's love, forgiveness, belonging, and the beautiful truth that no one is ever insignificant to Jesus. With colorful, comforting illustrations and an easy-to-understand message of faith, this story is wonderful for bedtime reading, Sunday school, church classrooms, Christian homeschooling, family devotionals, and Easter or baptism gifts.A meaningful Christian book for young children learning that even when we wander, the Good Shepherd knows us by name and lovingly calls us home. You are seen. You are known. You are loved. And you are always worth finding.
