Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

"Ages and Seasons" shows how the aging process, our transition from youth to old age, mirrors the changing seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. By this parallel arrangement of Ages and Seasons, the right idea can reach the reader when they need it the most, when they are most open and teachable. When a great truth seeker and a great truth giver meet, the result is a great and liberating enlightenment born of the experience of new truth. It's when you realize your mind has been so expanded by a new idea or truth it can never go back to its original dimensions.

In Ages and Seasons, our ancestors proffer wisdom and advice to you and me in the modern era. Man's technique varies, but his disposition remains quite unchanged. Actually, our ancestors are you and me in another time and place. What lessons can we learn from our proud progenitors? Consider the following: >Blind and unforeseen accidents do not occur in the cosmos. Neither do the celestial beings assist the lower being who refuses to act upon his light of truth.

Everyone thinks his burden is the heaviest. But small and great, we all boil in the same cauldron. Life is delicious, horrible, charming, frightful, sweet, bitter, and it is everything. Anxiety must be abandoned. The disappointments hardest to bear are those which never come.

Sometimes your most disappointing disappointments have become your greatest blessings. Sometimes the planting of a seed necessitates its death, the death of your fondest hopes, before it can be reborn to bear the fruits of new life and new opportunity.

Love of adventure, curiosity, and dread of monotony-these traits inherent in evolving human nature-were not put there just to aggravate and annoy you during your short sojourn on earth, but rather to suggest to you that death is only the beginning of an endless career of adventure, an everlasting life of anticipation, an eternal voyage of discovery.

Free yourself from the hope that the sea will ever rest. We must learn to sail in high winds. > Whatever Comes, You Can Handle It.
