Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Father, the Son and the Spear is a powerful story of betrayal, danger, faith, forgiveness, and a calling that survives the wounds of ministry. When a growing church begins to flourish, jealousy, ambition, rumors, false accusations, and broken relationships begin to rise around its pastor. Spiritual sons wrestle with impatience and ambition, while a spiritual father is forced to decide whether he will respond like Saul with a spear in his hand-or with the restraint and mercy seen in David.Drawing on the biblical patterns of Saul, David, and Absalom, this story explores what happens when fathers wound sons, sons turn against fathers, and bitterness threatens to destroy both.At its heart is a simple challenge: If you are a father, do not throw spears at sons because they grow. If you are a son, do not become Absalom because you are tired of waiting. And if somebody throws a spear at you, do not pick it up and become the person who wounded you. This is a story about surviving betrayal without becoming bitter, forgiving without pretending the wound never happened, and holding on to the calling of God when relationships fall apart.
