Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Fifteen centuries after Sinai, Moses stood on another mountain and saw the glory he had been denied. At Sinai Moses asked to see God's glory and was told, "You cannot see my face." On the mountain of the Transfiguration he stood beside Jesus as the face of the Son shone like the sun. The Face Moses Never Saw invites you to behold that same face in the four Gospels. In sixteen chapters, Glenn Bleakney traces the Jesus who makes the Father known, brings the kingdom of God near, turns water into wine, silences the storm, calls Lazarus from the tomb, confronts empty religion, and sends his disciples out to walk as he walked.Grounded in Scripture and written for believers and students alike, this book is also the companion text to Sent College's course Encountering Jesus: In the Gospels. It will leave you with a larger vision of Christ and a clearer sense of what it means to follow him.
