The crows listen to his story with amazement, and he proudly promises that next year he'll go again - maybe even with a brand-new song. The Scarecrow discovers that Halloween doesn't have to be scary at all, but wonderfully fun, full of laughter, friendship, and courage. He knows he'll never again be just a scarecrow standing in a field - now he's someone who can live, laugh, and sing.
