Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

She survived the fall. Now she has to learn how to sit with herself in the silence after it.Zara Monét Troi picked herself up off the floor - but no one warned her that healing would be lonelier than the heartbreak. The apartment is quiet. The phone doesn't buzz the way it used to. And for the first time in years, there's no one to perform for, no one to fix, no one to wait on.So Zara does something no one around her understands: she starts dating herself. Solo Sundays. Dinners for one. A hard, unglamorous relationship with her own reflection. Because somewhere along the way, she's realized that closed isn't the same as full - and if she doesn't learn the difference now, she'll spend the rest of her life mistaking one for the other. It would almost be peaceful, if her best friend would stop calling it what it actually is. If the mirror would stop asking questions she isn't ready to answer. And if a man named Darius would stop showing up right when she finally figured out how to be whole without one.Dating Herself is a raw, tender, unflinching look at the difference between boundaries and walls, and what it really costs to keep a promise to yourself - even when someone worth breaking it for finally walks in.Book 2 in the Behind Closed Doors series. Can be read as a continuation of The Woman on the Floor or enjoyed on its own.
