Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

What happens when a man receives more mercy than he could ever repay-but refuses to extend that same mercy to someone else?Darren has built his life around achievement, influence, and control. As Executive Director of the multibillion-pound Sackey Foundation, he occupies one of the most trusted positions in the world of international Christian philanthropy. He has a respected name, a loving family, and a future that appears secure. Then the numbers reveal the truth.A staggering financial crisis threatens the foundation, Darren's career, and everything he has spent a lifetime building. With nearly fifteen billion pounds at stake, there is no explanation sufficient, no solution within reach, and no possible way for Darren to repay what has been lost.He expects judgment.Instead, Josiah Sackey-the foundation's founder and the man who has every right to demand payment-offers Darren something unimaginable: complete mercy. But mercy received is not always mercy understood.Nnamdi, Darren's oldest friend, owes him £25,000. Compared with the debt Darren has just been forgiven, it is almost nothing. Yet fear, wounded pride, and years of resentment convince Darren that the debt must be paid. His decision sets in motion a chain of consequences that reaches beyond two former friends, touching their families, the foundation, and everyone watching to see whether the mercy Darren received has truly changed him.Set against the glass towers, quiet terraces, crowded streets, and churches of modern London, Fifteen Billion is a powerful Christian novel about impossible debt, costly forgiveness, fractured friendship, and the Grace of Jesus Christ.Inspired by the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18, this story asks a question every believer must eventually answer: How can we withhold mercy from others when we have been forgiven a debt we could never pay?For anyone who has struggled to forgive, longed to be forgiven, or needed to remember the immeasurable value of Grace, Fifteen Billion is a story of conviction, compassion, sacrifice, and the transforming power of mercy.
