Mrs. Ferris says Bea probably saw a boat. So Bea Pocket and WilfOkonkwo sit on the harbor wall in the cold with a watch and a notebook, andwrite down every single flash - and discover that the light is not just on.It is spelling something. What the message says is two words long, and once they can read it, everything gets worse. Because a lit lighthouse tells boats the channel issafe - and this one is lying.
