CHASING THE BAG -VS- CARRYING THE BLESSINGWhy Seeking God's Kingdom Will Take You Farther Than Chasing The World's SuccessThe world tells us to chase the bag-to pursue money, success, possessions, recognition, and everything that looks like prosperity. But Jesus taught us a different way: seek first the Kingdom of God.There is nothing wrong with working hard, building a successful life, or having financial resources. The danger comes when the blessing becomes more important than the One who gives the blessing.Chasing the Bag -VS- Carrying the Blessing challenges readers to examine what they are pursuing and what is truly leading their lives. Are you chasing what the world calls success, or are you carrying the purpose, favor, wisdom, and responsibility God has placed upon your life?Through biblical teaching and practical spiritual wisdom, Jeannie Gaines explores the difference between chasing provision and trusting the Provider, pursuing worldly success and walking in Kingdom purpose, and simply having money versus being entrusted with a blessing. This book will encourage you to: - Put God before money and material success- Recognize the difference between ambition and Kingdom purpose- Trust God as your source and provider- Develop biblical wisdom concerning money and stewardship- Refuse to compromise your faith for worldly gain- Understand that God's blessings carry purpose and responsibility- Seek the Kingdom of God first and trust Him with everything elseJesus said: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."- Matthew 6:33 (KJV)You don't have to spend your life chasing what God already knows you need.Stop chasing the bag. Seek the Kingdom. Carry the blessing.
