Meet Lily the camel and Mizo the cat, two best friends growing up in a warm and colourful Arabian oasis. When Lily decides to paint a beautiful golden star on a clay pot for a special evening gathering, things do not go quite as planned. One crooked point becomes a splash, and the more Lily tries to fix it, the messier it gets. With Mizo's gentle encouragement and a little "Bismillah," the friends discover that a mistake does not always have to be hidden or erased. Sometimes, looking at things in a new way can turn an accident into something wonderful.Lily & Mizo: It's OK to Make Mistakes is a warm, beautifully illustrated story for children aged 3-6, introducing young readers to themes of patience, creativity, friendship, gratitude and trying again.Set against an enchanting Arabian desert oasis, the story gently weaves Islamic expressions and values into an everyday adventure in a natural, age-appropriate way.Perfect for bedtime reading, classrooms and family story time, this book also includes a "Let's Talk!" page with simple questions to help parents, carers and educators explore the story together.A gentle reminder for every little adventurer: You do not have to be perfect to be proud of what you create.
