Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

When everything seems to shout "ME FIRST!", nature shows Lucía one gentle way to begin.

Tomorrow is Sky Day, and Lucía dreams of building a dancing kite. But sticks, paper, string, and ribbons all demand her attention at once. Her first try becomes a tangled lump.

Then Lucía notices something wonderful: a seed sends down one root, a spider begins with one thread, and a stream grows one drop at a time. Can one small, useful action-and then the next-help her kite take flight?

Why families and educators will enjoy sharing this story:

- Short English lines followed by natural Latin American Spanish- A concrete strategy for beginning an overwhelming project- Nature clues that make problem solving easy to see and remember- A joyful Latina heroine and vibrant folk-art-inspired illustrations- A warm read-aloud for home, preschool, and dual-language classrooms
