Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Maddie's first day of kindergarten means new friends, new rules, and doing some things without Mom and Dad for the very first time. Is she ready for her biggest adventure yet?Starting kindergarten brings big feelings, new routines, and plenty of questions. Maddie isn't quite sure what to expect, but she may be more ready than she thinks.Could a girl who would rather skip kindergarten end up wishing school happened on Saturdays? Will those unfamiliar faces become Maddie's new friends? What happens when Maddie discovers she has to raise her hand before she can talk? And why does school give Maddie her very own "credit card" to use at lunch?Early mornings, packed lunches, new routines, and one more "It's going to be okay"-kindergarten is an adventure for the whole family. Sometimes Mom needs that reminder too.Maddie doesn't have a perfect day, and that's the point. Kids can explore new routines, unexpected mistakes, and big feelings alongside Maddie before stepping into kindergarten themselves.By the time the backpacks come home and the stories spill out, kids and parents discover the same thing: we made it through day one.Join Maddie as she faces new rules, small mistakes, surprising friendships, and the kind of courage that helps kids and their grown-ups take that first big step.
