Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

What does the creation account reveal about the way God addresses chaos in our lives?Genesis begins with an earth that is unformed and unfilled, covered by darkness and surrounded by deep waters. Yet God has not abandoned it. His Spirit hovers, His Word is spoken, light appears, and creation begins moving toward order, fruitfulness, and shalom.Bringing Order Out of Chaos follows that divine pattern throughout Scripture: - God reveals Himself- His Spirit moves- Creation or humanity responds- His Word brings light and order- Shalom replaces chaosDavid Mattocks draws upon Hebrew word studies, Jewish interpretive traditions, biblical theology, and illustrations from the observable creation to examine the relationship among Spirit, breath, sound, vibration, resonance, light, and the sustaining Word of God.The journey moves from Genesis to Yeshua, the living Word who brought order wherever He went-healing bodies, opening blind eyes, delivering the tormented, restoring relationships, cleansing the Temple, and revealing the Father. It then turns toward the Spirit's work within worship, prayer, Scripture, families, generations, congregations, and communities. This book is not merely about the beginning of the world. It is about the God who still enters unfinished places and brings them beneath His loving authority.Every chapter concludes with reflection questions and an Assignment for the Week, making the book ideal for: - Personal devotional study- A twelve-week small-group study- Family and Sabbath discussions- Congregational teaching- Readers interested in Hebrew biblical concepts- Anyone seeking God's order in a chaotic seasonWhen darkness surrounds you and the way forward remains hidden, creation's first testimony still speaks: the Spirit is present, the Word is about to be heard, and light can appear.
