Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The BEST political satire!Erika Fine "skewers hypocrites and scoundrels with flair and wit in impeccable verse," says one of her many fans. Another calls her work "wisdom in rhyme." LIGHT VERSE ON HEAVY TOPICS is the result of one woman's quest to quell her anxiety and make sense of our chaotic world. She succeeds-with high-spirited humor and fresh insights, all in rhyme. Topics include the tumultuous Trump presidency, the 2020 presidential election, the Covid-19 pandemic, baseball, Wordle, the January 6 riot, Joe Biden, the Mueller report, gun safety, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and much more. To cope with our turbulent and challenging times, some people drink, others seek therapy, and still others write poems! Erika did the latter-with power and panache. See for yourself! Warning: Trump supporters probably won't like this book. Everyone else will love it!
