Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Jake Williams is an over-confident 12-year-old with a tendency to make jokes at all the wrong times. After eating radioactive ice cream, Jake receives the ability to shoot ice cream from his hands and fly, becoming Super Jake. Emboldened by his powers, he and his brother Kenny make the crazy decision to take on a new, growing enemy in North Westville Middle School: the Fashion Police, an upstart kid villain who wants everyone to dress according to his own fashion standards. This middle-grade novel for preteen boys explores the trials of fitting in at school and the virtues it takes to be a hero. The book also answers the question that has surely been keeping you up at night: how can ice cream and bad jokes defeat a sinister supervillain bent on mind-controlling the entire city?
