Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Maya Angelou wrote "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." After more than 20 years, author Jenny Haust releases in this book the intimate story of her heart, the story of a sorrow that is never fully diminished despite the passage of time. This is the narrative of one mother's anguish surrounding the in-utero death of her daughter. Haust reveals her "untold story" with astonishing candor as she and her husband, still in their 20s, endure brutal medical experiences, navigate the maze of funeral and burial arrangements, seek scientific reasons for their loss, and negotiate the demands of her employer when she struggles to sustain the next pregnancy to term. Her dream of motherhood becomes reality with the birth and nurturing of two healthy sons, who are now successful young adults. In writing about her personal experiences, Haust reaches deep inside herself to unlock the healing power of love and offer up to readers the gift of harmony, unity, and understanding that comes from sharing stories.
