Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Jasper is a grumpy octopus who loves nothing more than keeping his underwater treasure garden perfectly organized-right down to the last shiny spoon. But when a giant plastic bottle washes in from the reef and crashes through his coral collection, Jasper's orderly world is thrown into hilarious chaos. To make matters worse, his overly cheerful neighbor Clara the Hermit Crab offers to help-and accidentally knocks over one of his prized towers in the process. One dramatic ink cloud later, Jasper realizes that the bottle isn't going anywhere unless he accepts some teamwork. With sly humor and exaggerated sea-creature emotions, The Adventures of Jasper the Cranky Octopus introduces young readers to the concept of ocean pollution and marine conservation-without ever sounding like a lesson. As Jasper and Clara join forces with some friendly scuba divers to remove the plastic invader and restore their reef, kids learn that even the crankiest sea creatures can become unlikely allies in protecting the ocean.
