Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

If you flipped the world of nursery poems upside down into an uncomfortable and unfamiliar narrative, what would it look like? The unsettling thought of an egg creature coming to life with beady eyes and dancing about would surely cause dismay. A gaunt, zombified Jack Horner may disturb, while soft and cuddly kittens are nowhere to be found-only three beasts playing tricks on the unsuspecting.Meet the world of the Other Mother Goose. This is a modern horror reimagining of classic childhood nursery rhymes, stripped of their innocence and stained with a darker intent. These "fiendish childhood tales" are brought to life through the illustrations of Sarah Renee, known for her intricate digital and painted works involving creatures that push the realm of imagination. This graphic compilation presents her unique vision of a twisted, imaginary land where the rhymes of your youth become the nightmares of your adulthood.
