Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

In the tranquil landscapes of Mississippi, a young boy's life is woven with tales of tight-knit communities, family traditions, and the allure of the great outdoors. But as he nears his twenties, the bright lights of New York City beckon, promising a world of possibilities far from his Southern roots.Relocating to Manhattan, he quickly ascends the social ladder. From a coveted job at a prestigious firm to mingling with the city's elite at lavish parties, he seems to have it all, including a swanky penthouse and a whirlwind romance with a city magnate, Ryan. However, beneath the glitz and glamour lies a world of superficiality, hidden agendas, and transactional relationships. The overwhelming city life, combined with the disconnect from his origins, leads to a profound inner void. Seeking solace, he begins a transformative journey around the globe, immersing himself in diverse cultures and spiritual practices.Despite the newfound peace, shadows from his past and the relentless pull of city life lead him into a deep spiritual crisis. His crossroads moment comes during a fateful visit to a small Harlem church, where he experiences a divine awakening. The narrative gracefully comes full circle, emphasizing that no matter how far we travel, it's the connection to our roots and the Divine that truly guides our path.
