Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Michael A. Milton's Involved with Mankind: A Theology of the Chaplaincy is the first release in a series on the theology of chaplain ministry. Prepared for the Presbyterian and Reformed Commission on Chaplains and Military Personnel (PRCC), Bethesda Publishing Group now makes this monograph available to the Church and the public. Chaplain ministry is growing even as many churches are in decline. Why so? And how is it that chaplaincy seems to thrive in the secular age? How about the validity of a word and sacrament ministry that takes place in a context "outside of the gates" and is even funded by those who may be resistant to the Gospel? Mike Milton seeks to find not only the answers to these questions but to locate the theological code that can unlock the glorious potential of chaplaincy to be the faithful presence and common good that the Church seeks to become in secularism and post-secularism.
