Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A relentless rise to ruthless revengeIn Ivar: Legend of the Boneless, immerse yourself in the dramatic and historically accurate tale of Ivar Ragnarsson, the brilliant Viking leader whose name became synonymous with both cruelty and strategy. Born to the legendary Ragnar Lothbrok and the seeress Aslaug, Ivar was cursed from birth with weak bones that would prevent him from ever walking like his brothers. But it was his mind-not his body-that would shape his destiny.Fueled by a thirst for revenge for his father's brutal death at the hands of King Ælla, Ivar led the Great Heathen Army on a campaign that would change the course of history. From the strategic victories in the heart of England to the execution of Ælla using the blood eagle ritual, Ivar's quest for vengeance set the stage for the Viking conquest of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. But Ivar's legacy isn't just one of war-it's the tale of a son defying his fate, turning a perceived weakness into his greatest strength. This historical adventure follows Ivar's rise to power, the complex relationships with his brothers, his role in pivotal Viking campaigns, and the prophecy surrounding his death that would remain a part of the Viking mythos for centuries. The book also includes a real timeline of Ivar's life in the back to help dispel myths and provide clarity on the true events of his life."Ivar's story is a must-read for any fan of historical fiction and Viking history." -Sherman Hutchinson, Literary Critic
