"Vendetta Vegas Style" is a gripping suspense novel about Paul Marco, who seeks a fresh start by leaving Baltimore for Las Vegas on the advice of his friend Mikey Weigand. Avoiding big cities, Paul stops in small towns, initially searching for peace and new beginnings. However, his journey becomes entangled with a woman whose husband embezzled millions from the Chicago mob, intensifying the tension between his desire for a new life and the inescapable shadow of his past. The conflict between the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas and the Chicago mob involves violent retaliations and strategic maneuvers. It begins when two Chicago mob members are kidnapped, tortured, and buried in the desert outside Las Vegas. Enraged, the Chicago mob retaliates against the Golden Nugget. Paul devises a plan to incite internal conflict within the five Chicago mob families by targeting their bosses, hoping they will suspect each other and start a war among themselves. This strategy aims to create chaos within the Chicago mob and divert their attention from the Golden Nugget. In the end, the Chicago syndicate suffers significant losses. The new mob leadership in Chicago is ordered to cease their pursuit of money from Las Vegas, ending the costly vendetta. Paul and his Golden Nugget allies continue to take precautions to protect their interests and maintain control.
