Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Leaving a home decimated by global war and environmental disaster, humanity's only surviving Apocalypse Ship nears the end of its three thousand year journey, but humans continue to be human.A drunk is pushed into consciousness after his brother's tragic murder. A key leader comes to a life-changing decision to end her throuple, and the ship's most senior priest spins his webs of intrigue and conspiracies. And a mass murderer shadows their every move while killing without remorse. The crew of the Salvation struggles to prepare for landfall, but will they save themselves in time to see their new home? The first book of the Serving Salvation series is a suspenseful human tale of politics, relationships, and hope. The reviews are in!"This is not my usual genre of book to read however, I have read several other books by this author and always found them quite good so I decided to give this one a try. I am glad that I did! This story brings so many interesting ideas and concepts. While it has an interesting sci-fi background, to me it was so much more. The book has many fascinating and diverse characters with several sub-plots, including political intrigue, sociological upheaval and even a little romance. Even if the book hadn't ended with a cliff hanger I would be buying book two. Can't wait!""It took me a few chapters to get caught up in the book. The "on board ship" society the author created is fascinating in its complexity. I want to go work in the engineering section, that sounds technically fascinating. I'm looking forward to landfall and how that works out."---JT Hume started life as a rambling man. Born in El Paso while his US Army parents were stationed in Texas, he's been boots-dry in forty-plus states and lived in three countries. He's a proud Nevadan and product of the Silver State's K12 and higher education system, and he proudly served in the United States Air Force. The best decision he ever made was when he asked Cassidy Carson to marry him. The jury is still out on whether accepting said proposal was Cassidy's best decision.JT Hume's books are formed from his knowledge and interest in politics, government, and Nevada. His characters are pushed through strategies honed over many years of playing bad chess. You might say his books are flavored with the love and romance he's shared with his soulmate over their decades together. Please read his books and reach out to him with questions, corrections, or constructive criticism. Thank you.
