Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

After three years in the Internal Investigations Unit of the Royal Guard, Taner thinks he's being punished for one of his many screw ups. For some unknown reason, he's been ordered to Old Mishnah in search of a lost kid, a task the city cops, or even the junior scouts ought to be able to do.With no information beyond an old baby picture and a request to find the boy within the next eighteen days, Taner reluctantly heads out into the dystopian streets of what used to be a vibrant and beautiful city. At least, he was issued both a piece and a blade, and plenty of cigarettes to alleviate his boredom."Keep at it," his boss, Captain Loman tells him. "This assignment could change your life."Sure.With one day to go and only an ancient shopkeeper's vague indication that the kid is somewhere in the general vicinity, maybe even living with the old whore down the street, Taner stumbles upon the now twelve year old version of the missing baby, only to discover he's some kind of telepathic and telekinetic freak, never mind his murderous rage issues. Now, Taner has to bring him in, back to the Imperial Palace, but is that really a good idea?Note to readers: This title contains graphic language, sexual situations, and some violence. It is not intended for children or young teens.
