Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

From Persia to JerusalemThe Guardians of the Scroll - Book Iby Joseph Portnoj GajJerusalem has fallen. The First Temple lies in ruins. The people of Judah have been taken into exile in Babylon, far from the land of their fathers. In a foreign empire, they struggle to preserve their faith, their traditions, and the memory of Zion.Among the exiles is a family entrusted with guarding sacred legacies that will pass from generation to generation: an ancient scroll preserving the covenant and history of their people, a ring once given by Cyrus the Great to the founder of their family, and a manuscript written by one of his descendants describing the royal wedding of King Xerxes and Queen Esther. For more than half a century, they have lived in captivity, holding onto the fragile hope that one day they may return home. Then history changes.Cyrus the Great conquers Babylon and issues a decree that will alter the destiny of a nation: the Jewish people may return to Jerusalem and rebuild the House of God.But returning to Zion will demand courage, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. From Persia to Jerusalem is the first volume of The Guardians of the Scroll, an epic historical saga in which the fate of a family-and the sacred objects they protect-will echo across centuries of history.
