Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Dr. Aoife Brennan, a respected archaeologist specialising in Irish mythic sites, arrives in County Clare to investigate a newly uncovered cave revealed by a recent landslide. Locals whisper that the cave is cursed, tied to ancient stories of a man who lived through the Flood. Aoife dismisses the rumours, but she feels an uncanny pull toward the site. Inside, she finds markings unlike any she has seen - spirals, salmon motifs, and symbols associated with the earliest peoples of Ireland. Her discovery attracts academic interest, government attention, and the curiosity of those who believe myths hold truth. Aoife senses that the cave is not merely ancient - it is alive with memory.Aoife documents the cave's carvings, realising they depict events spanning thousands of years: the Flood, the arrival of the Partholonians, the battles of the Tuatha Dé Danann, and the rise of the Milesians. The symbols appear to be the work of a single hand - impossible by any known historical measure. She finds a chamber deeper within, where a stone basin sits beneath a carved eagle and hawk. The imagery matches legends of Fintan the Seer, the immortal who witnessed all ages. Aoife begins to suspect that the cave is not a burial site but a sanctuary - a place where Fintan lived, transformed, and remembered. Her academic certainty begins to crack.
