Even today, Astronomers have not identified consistent signals from any supercivilization from anywhere in the universe. Nevertheless, we do know that solar systems exist that are much older than our own. Quasars could be a hint. We do well to remember the historical work of astrophysicist Nikolai Kardashev from 1964 and his model of civilization types based on energy.
