David Hanover has had a dream for many years. While his mother was alive he would go with her to the stable where she kept her horses. She would go there often and ride taking David with her. David was befriended by the veterinarian who would come and care for the horses. He became a helper for him. David developed a love for horses and for all animals. His dream was to become a veterinarian. His father, however, had other plans. His father was the major partner in a law firm and he expected David to become a lawyer and take over the practice one day. Then David meets Taffy McDonald and the two fall in love. After Taffy's mother dies, David becomes her strength in helping get through the grief. Their relationship grows and they soon begin talking marriage. The trials and sorrow as well as the good times they go through eventually lead them to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Will they find their happily ever after?
