Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

"She dwells with Beauty-Beauty that must die." In the "Ode on Melancholy," John Keats found the truth at the heart of all his work: that sorrow and delight are inseparable, that beauty is most piercing because it passes. This volume gathers the book in which that ode first appeared - Keats's last and greatest, published in 1820, the year before his death at twenty-five. It holds the three great narrative poems, Lamia, Isabella, and The Eve of St. Agnes, and the immortal odes of 1819: to a Nightingale, on a Grecian Urn, to Psyche, to Autumn, and on Melancholy - together the finest flowering of English Romantic poetry.A newly typeset Northlume Library edition, behind an original mixed-media cover illustration by JVB Atelier Designs.
