Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Betty and her husband had decided to start over - a new life in Martinique, under the sun.As an astrologer, she placed a small ad in a local newspaper to begin building her clientele.A few days later, the phone rang. The man on the other end claimed to be a business executive. He said he needed to make a life-changing decision and insisted on consulting her first. Hesitant but professional, Betty agreed to meet. She had no idea she was walking into a trap. What followed was not only a violent assault, but a second wave of trauma, the one inflicted by the very institutions meant to protect her. What happens when the police dismiss you, justice delays, and silence becomes the norm? This is the story of a woman who fought back, not only against her attacker, but against a justice system that failed her, and others.
