Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Mmer Ydia is a famous presenter of the debate programme 100 Minutes on the Israeli TV channel Channel 1-2-3 in Tel Aviv. Dodging censorship and accompanied by three guests, she conducts a lively live debate on two very disturbing questions that are on almost everyone's mind.

Was the Hamas attack of 7th October 2023 really due to a colossal failure of Israeli intelligence? Was the alternative a decision to let it happen? These four characters, the presenter, a journalist, a former intelligence agent and a criminology professor, discuss and reflect on the actual comments of Israeli citizens published in the Times of Israel media on 26th October 2023.

The television set where the programme 100 Minutes is broadcast is the setting where the author offers us a particular approach to Israel's war against Palestine. With a sharp documentary background and a few surprises, this work runs between realities and fantasies, between certainties and conjectures, with apparently trivial scenes and other more profound ones. A work as unclassifiable as Stanley Kubrick's histrionic madness in Dr. Strangelove.
