Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Newly elected to the District 2 Seat of West Virginia, Congressman Dwayne McMillan doesn't spare the whip in telling it how it is. A former US Marine, a family man and a regular at Sunday Mass, he is firm in his belief of American society's quality standard having dropped well below the plimsoll line. His words fill the hearts of his district's constituents with hope; a hope shared by red-state America of a victim-first reform coming to see the sentencing of violent crime offenders rise to its harshest in the history of the nation.

Prior to his election to congress, McMillan's most controversial quote, earning him both scorn and praise, was, 'Offenders of violent crime are barely human, so the barest of human rights should apply to them.'

The Devout Servant shares McMillan's sentiment to the extent he's prepared to usurp the helm of the Divine Courtroom and put what was once God's harsh sentencing back into practice. He strongly believes God has abandoned his protection of the righteous and good in favor of aiding and abetting the wicked and evil.

Detectives around the country scramble to track down a man who plans for everything which is left at the crime scene, and leaves nothing more than his plans allow.

Unbeknownst to McMillan, and contrary to what he'd believe, his connection to the Devout Servant is both present and strong.
